About the Artist - Nita Bagga

Nita is a self-taught, award-winning artist based in Stanley, North Carolina. Her work is deeply inspired by nature, capturing the essence of landscapes and florals through an impressionist lens. Drawing from her travels and daily life, Nita's paintings aim to forge an emotional connection between the artwork and the viewer. Her preferred medium is oil, though she occasionally incorporates acrylics into her work. 

Influenced by masters like Van Gogh and Monet, as well as contemporary artists such as Andrew Tischler, Vladimir Volegov, and Richard Musgrave-Evans, Nita continually hones her craft. Her portfolio includes not only landscapes and florals but also pet portraits and commissioned pieces, each telling its own unique story.

Nita's art has been showcased at events like the Kings Drive Art Walk, Charlotte, Festival in the Park, Charlotte, Art Walk at Union in Cabarrus county, Christmasville at Rockhill SC,  and Arts festival in Mount Holly, reflecting her growing presence in the art community.
